NQ Solar Wins Gold at the Living Expo! - 23rd September 2010
NQ Solar has been awarded the Australian Events Directors Choice Award at the Townsville Living Expo for the most impressive and informative display of all exhibitors.
Beginning Friday 17th September to Sunday 19th September, NQ Solar was on display at the Townsville Living Expo to educate Expo visitors on “Going Green” in their home or business.
NQ Solar Manager, Karen Lloyd-Collins said NQ Solar had the largest display at the Expo and went to great lengths to stand out amongst the other exhibitors.
“Our site included a display of our entire product range, giving visitors the chance to see our solar panels up close, as well as our hot water heat pump, generators, batteries, regulators and our recreational solar panels for camping,” Karen said.
“We had two competitions running over the three days of the Expo, giving visitors the chance to win one of six $500 NQ Solar Gift Vouchers and a Solar Camping Adventure Package valued at almost $1000.”
“We also offered all visitors NQ Solar Show Bags filled with information about our renewable energy products and solar gadgets to demonstrate how amazing solar technology is in action.”
Karen Lloyd-Collins said that comments from the many visitors of the NQ Solar display included how well designed the site was and how helpful and informative the staff were to talk to.
“Visitors found our site relaxing and inviting, and commented how comfortable they felt to ask questions and learn about our renewable energy products.”
“Even the kids were kept amused - we had a Nintendo Wii as well as a colouring competition to allow parents to learn about “Going Green” with minimal distraction.”
