Free Solar at Living Expo - 24th August 2010

In light of the recent increase to the cost of power there has never been a better time to switch to greener energy solutions in your home or business.  NQ Solar will be on display at the Townsville Living Expo at the Townsville Showgrounds in September. 

To demonstrate their commitment to a greener future for our planet, NQ Solar will give away a Solar Panel Package valued at almost $1000 and $500 NQ Solar Vouchers to visitors of the NQ Solar display at the 2010 Townsville Living Expo.

Visitors who attend the NQ Solar display at the Living Expo can win a Solar Camping Adventure Pack valued at $960, and those who register for a free site inspection will go in the draw to win one of six $500 NQ Solar Vouchers.

NQ Solar Manager, Karen Lloyd-Collins said that the NQ Solar exhibit will be the largest at the Expo, consisting of their entire product range and visitors will be amazed by the competitions and giveaways on offer.

“We will be giving away two $500 NQ Solar Vouchers on each day of the Expo and a Solar Camping Adventure Pack, including an 80 watt solar panel to lucky visitors to our display.  We will have free showbags filled with everything you need to know about renewable energy products, Government rebates and solar powered gadgets to demonstrate how amazing this technology is in action!” She said.

“Visitors will be able to see our entire range of solar panels up close, discover how a Photovoltaic Grid-Connect System works, see our award winning Stiebel Eltron Heat Pump in action, explore solar for camper vans and learn about renewable energy solutions from the Techies Behind NQ Solar.”

“The NQ Solar display will also cater for the kids, with a range of educational activities and a Nintendo Wii so parents can learn about green solutions, while the kids are kept amused.”

Lloyd-Collins said that the technology behind solar can be daunting for home business owners to understand to the full extent.

“We want visitors to our display to feel comfortable to ask questions to our Solar Technicians and gain a full understanding of the technology behind our renewable energy products and the benefits they will receive by going green.”

The 2010 Living Expo will be held over three days, beginning Friday 17th September to Sunday 19th September 2010 at the Townsville Showgrounds. The NQ Solar exhibit will be located near the food court.
