Loans of $3000 (min) up to $25,000 (max) can be obtained through Queensland Country Credit Union for the installation of renewable energy solutions - making it even easier for Queenslanders to reduce their carbon footprint.

According to NQ Solar Manager, Karen Lloyd-Collins often households cannot afford to outlay the total cost for the installation of a renewable energy system. 

“Due to the cost of living on the rise, many household budgets can not account for these costs up front.  Although the installation of renewable energy systems will provide significant savings, the initial cost of the system is out of reach for some homeowners,” she says.

The Eco Smart Green Loans are eligible towards the installation of:

• Roof solar (photovoltaic) panels and systems
• Rainwater storage tanks
• Grey-water treatment system
• Solar hot water system
• Roof insulation
