NQ Solar is a fully Australian owned and operated company based in North Queensland. NQ Solar commenced operations in Cairns in October 2007 and Townsville in June 2009. We service North Queensland from Cape York to Mackay and our products are available further afield through internet sales.

With over 20 years of electrical experience, the team at NQ Solar can assist with all your energy needs. Our mission is to provide our customers with quality and service that consistently meets or exceeds their expectations.

We sell and install photovoltaic grid connect solar systems, hot water heating systems, generators, recreational solar panels, regulators and anything else required for small to large energy systems. We can also design stand-alone power systems to suit your needs.

Employment

NQ Solar employs eight full-time staff and three apprentices/trainees. NQ Solar is a host for electrical apprentices and administration trainees. We believe it is important to train our youth and build their experience and confidence to develop them into future valuable employees. We support the professional development of our personnel and provide assistance to our tradespersons to obtain accreditation in the Renewable Energy Industry.
